After creating the initial storyboards, I decided to get a collection of possible music that could appear within the advert. In order to do this I found some free sound effect sites that do music and general sound effects. I then used these sites to find any Renaissance music or sound effects that could be useful to my project.

The Free Sound FX sites I used were:
https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/search/
https://freesound.org/search/?q=&f=&s=created+desc
Possible music to be used in the video:
“In the Hall of the Mountain King – Kevin Macleod”
“Amazing Plan – Kevin Macleod”
“The Descent – Kevin Macleod”
“Crossing the Chasm – Kevin Macleod”
“Strength Of The Titans – Kevin Macleod”
“The Cavalry Charge – William Tell Overture (Finale)”
“Two Steps from Hell – Heart of Courage”
“Ride of the Valkyries – Richard Wagner”
The music I selected for the video centers mostly around a Napoleonic theme. I chose to use this theme because it fits with the board game (Risk's) atmosphere and would allow me to have a more grandeous and exciting feel to the final advert.
I also got a selection of other possible songs that have a more comical and jovial tone, although I believe I will ultimately choose to remain using the more Napoleonic music, as it fits better with the appearance and gameplay of the board game (Risk).
Possible Sound effects to be used in the video:
“Cavalry Charge – Bugle Call”
I chose this sound effect because it fits with the theme of the advert and it can easily be used to convey a victory, as the pieces on the board game (Risk) beat each other.
Overall I believe I made my selection of songs and sound effects well, because this selection of music and sound effects gives me an abundance of choice while also fitting with the aesthetic of the board game (Risk) and tone of the advert.
